Day 1, Saturday
Arrival in Mexico City, Transfer Hotel Sheraton Centro Historico. Overnight.
Day 2, Sunday
Mexico City
Museum of Anthropology, Shrine of Guadaloupe, Teotihuacan,

Day 3, Monday
Mexico City-Veracruz
Before we leave Mexico City, short walk over the Zoccalo (main square) of the town, cathedral, national palace, Templo mayor.
Drive to Puebla. City walk in this wonderful colonial town. Further to the tropical lowland of Veracruz. Enjoy the nightlife in this lively port.
Overnight: Veracruz, Hotel Emporio or Fiesta Inn
Day 4, Tuesday
Veracruz-Villahermosa
Via Santiago de Tuxtla to the lagoon of Catemaco. The picturesque lake fills the crater
of a gone out volcano, humid-hot climate, ideally for many bird's and a wonderful flora. In the evening, arrival in Villahermosa

Day 5, Wednesday
Villahermosa-Palenque
Visit the park museum La Venta. Nearly 600 years, from 100 – 400 B.C. La Venta was the center of the Olmec- culture. In the La Venta museum in Villahermosa the olmec-heads and other exhibits are issued very nicely.
About midday, arrival in Palenque, excursion to a primeval forest river.

Palenque Day 6, Thursday
Palenque-Campeche-Hecelchakan (Hacienda)
Palenque, the ideal archaeological site; enigmatically, solemnly, well-preserved and in impressive way embedded in the rain forest of Chiapas .
About midday, drive to Campeche. The city retains many of the old colonial Spanish city walls and fortifications which protected the city (not always successfully) from pirates and buccaneers. City walk and further on to the Hacienda Blanca Flor in Hecelchakan. Enjoy the stay in these Hacienda from the 17th century

Day 7, Friday
Hecelchakan-Uxmal-Merida-Chichen Itza Driving the Puuc-Route to the Mayan site of Uxmal. As a World Heritage site, it is one of the best restored and maintained ruins in the Yucatan, and certainly one of the most magnificent. Short city tour in Merida, a wonderful colonial city. Onwards to Chichen Itza,

Day 8, Saturday
Chichen Itza – Cancun
As we overnight in Chichen Itza, we can visit this world famous Mayan site in the early morning hours.
Around midday, depart to
Cancun Airport; arrival at 2.30pm.
